NAMP MUSLIM NETWORKING EVENT 2024
To commemorate Islamophobia Awareness Month, NAMP held the first-ever Muslim Networking Event (#MNE2024) alongside colleagues from the National Association of Muslim Police, President Alexander Gent, Vice Presidents Irfan Ishaq MSc and Khaldoun Kabbani, in partnership with Muslim Friendly Employers Humayun Islam BEM BCAc and Holly Rayfield from Islamophobia Awareness Month. It was truly an unforgettable evening! ✨
Our inaugural exclusive Muslim Networking Event, focussing on the theme ‘Seeds of Change’, gathered a diverse array of leaders and partners to celebrate our shared achievements and deepen our commitment to fostering a more inclusive future during and beyond Islamophobia Awareness Month #IAM2024
A huge thank you to Chief Constable John Robins and West Yorkshire Police for graciously hosting us, and to everyone who attended, making the evening nothing short of amazing! The contributions to the engaging discussions and valuable connections made the evening a success.
We were honored to feature a thought-provoking panel discussion on tackling Islamophobia and fostering community understanding. These conversations are vital in building a truly inclusive society, and it was uplifting to hear so many perspectives on driving positive change.
A special thank you to our incredible panellists, Alexander Gent, Zara Mohammed, Dr Mustapha Sheikh, PhD, Aaliya Goyal, Matthew Hopley and Alison Lowe OBE.
We were also grateful to be joined by WuduMate who work closely with many organisations, including Police forces to provide ablution and wash facilities and Square Apple, who put on a fantastic spread for our guests!
The National Association of Muslim Police look forward to continuing this important work and making an even bigger impact next year! 💫 #MNE2024 #IAM2024
