You will be asked to agree to NAMP’s statement of faith and data protection notice when you join.

For UK police forces that have an Association of Muslim Police (AMP) aligned to the NAMP constitution. A police email is required, ideally the AMP’s own address so it continues when the chair changes.
The force agrees to the terms in relation to the NAMP constitution. Your local AMP stays involved: force membership works alongside it, never around it.

Common questions
Do I need to pay to get access to NAMP guidance?
No. Basic membership is free for everyone and includes our guidance documents, resources, updates, consultations and surveys.
What does “priority service and enhanced support” mean?
NAMP is a volunteer-led association with limited capacity. Where several people ask for help at once, members on Standard and Premium plans are helped first. To keep this fair, priority support applies to members who have signed up (on an annual plan) before they ask for help.
Will force membership affect my local AMP?
No. Force membership works alongside your AMP. The AMP stays involved in every conversation, and the AMP chair and executive can get advice and support from NAMP on the free tier.
I am a former officer, or a member of the community. Can I join?
Please get in touch and tell us about your interest in NAMP. We consider these requests individually.
When can I pay for Standard or Premium?
Online payment is being set up. Until it opens, you can join on the free tier and we will let you know.
A statement of faith, data protection notice (religion is special category data under UK GDPR) and membership terms will be published before sign-up opens.
